Susan J. Dulkerian, M.D.

Susan J. Dulkerian, M.D., is Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. She is the Chair of Mercy's Department of Pediatrics and Medical Director of Newborn Services in The Family Childbirth and Children’s Center at Mercy Medical Center.

Dr. Susan Dulkerian has been recognized by Baltimore magazine as a "Top Doctor" in Neonatology. Dr. Dulkerian received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. She completed her Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, Paterson, NJ. Dr. Dulkerian completed her Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania & Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Her special interests include Neonatal Infectious Diseases, Neonatal Transport and Outreach Education. Dr. Dulkerian actively participates in outreach education throughout the state of Maryland. She is a published authored and has numerous national presentations to her credit. Dr. Dulkerian actively participates in research initiatives and teaching.

Dr. Susan Dulkerian’s regional and national service includes membership in the Perianatal Clinical Advisory Committee (PCAC) and the MieMMS (Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems) Perinatal Advisory Committee. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
